Dorian Isenberg

Raised in his mother's and grandmother's kitchens, Dorian Isenberg began cooking seriously at the age of 8. But he never considered a career in food until-after over a decade working in the field of horology (watchmaking) -he realized that he spent all his spare time watching cooking shows, reading cookbooks and, yes, eating. "I remember coming home from elementary school in the afternoon and watching Julia Child on PBS everyday", says Dorian. " My mom would come into the room and tell me to go outside and play with the other kids.then she would see what I was watching and say 'How does she do that?' So I'd show her."

After over 30 years of cooking for family and friends Dorian decided to take the plunge into the culinary world and concentrate on what he loves best, chocolate. Dorian set off to study the philosophies, styles, and techniques of several Master Chocolatiers.

Having completed his studies, Dorian opened his own chocolate company, J Dorian Chocolatier. He has supplied chocolates for weddings, hotels, restaurants and many other special occasions throughout the country. Dorian resides in Dallas with his Wife and Daughter.
